Creamy Garlic Hummus

I’m guessing if you are checking out this recipe you are already a fan of hummus? Or are you just wanting to give it a try for the first time? I have not always been a hummus person myself. A couple years ago, when I decided to try making my own is when I fell in love. Once I started making it myself, it was a total game changer. I love dipping veggies or pretzels for a snack. It’s also really great in a tortilla for lunch with some cucumber and avocado.

This recipe is my basic GO-TO hummus recipe. The best thing about it is you can make adjustments to your preference. If you like it more garlicky add more. If you would rather it have more lemon you can always add an extra squeeze till you absolutely love it.

Putting it together.

Get ready this one is real easy. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the hummus is thicker than you prefer, add extra lemon juice or water to thin. Drizzle with olive oil and top with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for an extra little kick.
